Strolling to the Sea

It was far too hot today, mid thirties with a roaring warm Nor Wester wind. Hubby and I went for a stroll at the estuary and had to chase our hats. The wind was rippling the water and pushing it along out to sea. There were shags, white faced herons, terns, variable oyster catchers, ducks and seagulls.

I liked the feeling of space in this image with the footprints leading you to the sea, but hang onto your hat!! :)

We finally put our big table away which signifies the end of the festive season, the start of a new year and things returning to normal. Hubby starts work later this week and Daughter A is thinking of Uni while Daughter E is thinking about school subjects.

Thank you for your comments, stars and favourites which put me on the spotlight page for yesterdays sunset - I'm feeling very humble, thank you :)

Pasta for tea tonight - I'd better go and prepare it. Have a good week :))
