my chariot awaits

probably difficult to make out from the photo, but beyond the two doors lies my flight home from tauranga. marking another first while in nz, domestic flights have no security checks to board, which is wonderful. arrived to the airport approximately 20 minutes before the flight, checked in the bags, and walked on - fantastic!

unfortunately it is an absolutely gorgeous day here, and will only be improving towards the new year, as i have to fly away.

furthermore, had the joy of the christmas holiday travel rush twice, as i dealt with the mob in auckland today, and upon flying back to the states, landed in san francisco where it was again the morning of the 23rd. 'tis the season.
