A torch and a flower

Another garden blip today since heavily overcast skies has me staying put in the house. A "bottle-brush" looking flower that blooms in December and stays on till around February. Natural light was so flat that I decided to use a torch to add some extra drama to the flower.

Does anyone have a name for this?
