this flower is tiny

new extension tube, you rock my world! I'm blown away by the now 1 inch focus distance of my 50mm 1.8 and the ridiculously shallow DOF with the 36mm tube attached. It's nearly impossible to focus, it's so shallow. I need to start using a tripod I think and manually focusing. I love how at this scale and with such a shallow DOF, the natural world can become so abstract. the full size of this flower (which is not even close to fitting in the frame) is less than an inch wide.

now, I think it's time to find me some scary looking bugs or something!
