Caerlaverock

Last day of our week down in Dumries-shire.

I've always wanted to go to this castle ever since I was a young lad and there was a public information film which show regularly on TV in which it featured. All I can remember about the commentary though is "King Charles escaped on a fast horse to York."

I wasn't disappointed. So much so we signed up for Historic Scotland membership on the spot

We all had a great time. And yes Breagha was in the moat!
