the eastern

Went out tonight to see The Eastern. Waffled around in the harbour by the venue (The Boathouse) before going in, grabbing a cider and wandering out onto the deck where I spotted Brendon and Sonja, so I had friends. They had with them a trainee vet-nurse who had just arrived from Pennsylvania via Colorado that day so The Eastern were hopefully a good buffer for easing her in. Later, Claudi turned up and we had a good chat about the plusses and minuses of being a designer in a small town...

The Eastern were fantastic. Must see if you ever get a chance.
