Gentle on my mind...
...a blustery day, with straight-down-plonk rain, as my late father used to say. I actually loved it - this change in weather after all that snow.
I also knew I wanted to be at the beach. It was late afternoon by the time I got there, and the light was fading - but an amazing gentle grey blue. Softness was what I wanted, but the softness of where things meet and become other things - where the sky meets the sea, and the sea meets the shore.
That gentleness is one of the reasons I adore David Clunas' blips - check him out here if you haven't seen his journal already.
