Just a Few Ants
"It is not enough to be industrious; so are the ants. What are you industrious about?"
- Henry David Thoreau
I went down into our backyard seeking a blip for today. As I went onto the last bit of our lawn before the bush, I passed what looked like a bunch of very dark soil - topsoil looking stuff. On closer inspection, it proved to be ants. Many, many, many ants.
After a couple of shots focusing on the big bunch of them, I decided to try to capture some of the groups of ants running about on the long blades of grass, with the mass of them blurred out in the background. I think this was the shot that worked the best in terms of focus on the near ants.
