Corners

Another great morning of work and productive afternoon.

More work on the DSLR fund. Been working my way through a pile of film stills to sell and this afternoon took the plunge and got the tubes of posters from the cupboard. Now these are all original cinema posters and whilst some of them will be worth something the majority will be worth nowt, or virtually nowt at least. But there's one, which I will not name for now, that I have a good feeling about. If it is worth what I suspect then it may well pay for a large chunk of the new camera by itself. Or, of course my suspicions will be wrong and the work will have to continue steady bit by steady bit. Either way I should know by this time next week and it will either be a time for wild celebration or for quiet contemplation.

I don't get my espresso cups out often these days but they came in very handy for holding the corners down of That Special Poster whilst I was taking photos of it for auction. Soundtracked by some old indie sounds from an old sixth-form favourite of mine. My dad could never understand why there were three of them given their band name, and as for their name, well he nearly got it right all those years ago. I give you...The Cocktail Twins
