Not quite sure what this is, but there were two of them washed up on the beach this morning. Used to catch some sort of sea creature I imagine.

What I like about the blustery and stormy weather is that the sand and shingle move around, constantly changing the shape of the beach, and you get all sorts of stuff washed up on to the beach.

In the distance you can see the naval radar tower. If you remember Jon Pertwee as Dr Who and the Silurian sea monsters, then that is where they filmed some of the episodes. They were definitely too big to be caught by this net.
