Mosquitos

It's been so warm here recently there was a swarm of mosquitos in the 'usual' woods. As they flatly refused to line up for a mugshot, you get some sunlight filtering through the trees on to a baby pine.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a really really cold snap to kill off some of the huge number of bugs we get in the summer?
Maybe not, I'll take the 15 deg.C and lovely sunshine.
