Wild horses

This beautiful glass ornament was a late Christmas present from my friend Sue Hutley from the Australian Library and Information Association. She bought two as she left a library conference in Gothenburg to commemorate a dear friend of ours who died at the conference.

As I look at tonight I think of her dear friends and family struggling in Queensland. I've watched her FB and tweets as she organises help for Queensland's libraries and am humbled at how something so small can bring two continents together
