Nomen est omen

I have been called Nina since I was a little girl but my real name is Marina. The sea has always been my element, so maybe my name has been an omen.

When I was about 10 years old in the 1960's, my father brought me this little sea horse from one of his business trips abroad. I was very upset to see this little creature preserved in acrylic glass.
