White Rose

This is the first time I've shot in RAW and processed in Lightroom, and it's a miracle that I was able to upload this image. I'll say this about that: there is a phenomenal amount of detail to work with, as advertised, and amazing capability for optimizing the image. This rose pretty much glows like the one outside in the rain. My HUGE problems came when I tried to convert the file to a jpg in order to upload it. I'm sorry if this is incomprehensible jargon, but I really just have to vent! I'm off to read the manual... and a footnote: the file needs to be 8 bit to convert to jpg. Anybody have an easy workflow?
