Almost there...

Today was the first official day of my last semester of community college.

I have four semesters behind me. Four semesters of straight A's.

I go into this semester a four time President's List Honor Student. 4.0 GPA.

At the end of this semester, I will have an Associates Degree.

I have a long 17 weeks ahead of me. This is my most harrowing semester to date.

Two sociology classes, one literature class, one creative writing class, and second year biology. I can only pray that I will come out of this semester with A's...

My plans for the future have changed rapidly over the past 5 days, and I have moved myself quickly into my "Plan B".

I applied yesterday for a college here in my own state. Had I waited any longer, I would not have been able to enter this coming fall semester, as the deadline is February 1st, much earlier than originally thought.

Hopefully my good grades will get me in. I have a few more things to work out before everything becomes finalized, but I think it will be okay.

I go there at the end of the month to talk to the counselors.

Where one dream ends, another begins, right?

I'm looking for the silver lining....trying to see the good....

Maybe having a laid out plan will help...
