Petouzet

He lives just around the corner of our house and is said to be at least 40 years old. That would make him one of the oldest horses in the country, but the owner lost his birth certificate. Maybe it is the influence of Jeanne Calment who lived not far away. I rather suppose his recipe for longevity is the fact that nobody ever rode him because he has fits of asthma. He also is an escape artist. Sometimes we hear something coughing close to our garden fence in the middle of the night and we know Petouzet has made it again.

When he saw I had no carrots or stale bread but just a camera, he withdrew, pouting.

No food, no pose.
