Early Morning.

This morning there was the most beautiful sunrise, but I just couldn't seem to get to the right place to blip it. So of course by the time I did, all the beautiful pink light had disappeared. Anyway, I got this.

Today the weather has been absolutely beautiful, so different from a few days ago.

The Brisbane floods didn't reach the height of the 1974 floods, but only by a metre.

Tragically 15 people have died so far, and no doubt there are more to come.

Watching TV tonight as the floods recede has been absolutely heartbreaking.
so many tragic stories.

Not a good start to 2011.

Alexandra has just learnt a school friend has died. A lovely boy. More sadness.
