Coaching

I was early to pick up at basketball practice tonight so I went in to watch. It was nice to get a behind the scenes look at the team. The girls are an enthusiastic bunch. They have yet to win a game but they have learned a lot and they have all had personal accomplishments so far this season. They get along well on and off the court and they listen to their coach. In addition to teaching them plays and fundamentals, he has told them (and us parents) that winning is not the most important thing. Learning the game, getting better, and having fun at it are all important in our play book this year.
