Wonderland

It's hard to convey the excitement that preceded this storm. We've known it was coming for days now, but with each weather report, the winds got a little stronger and the snow grew a little deeper. At midnight last night, the wind began to howl, just as they said it would, and it kept it up until about 8 this morning. There was no power got up this morning (about 50,000 people were without power in Massachusetts today). Big cheer when it came back on late morning - nice to be able to make a cup of tea.

Not sure how many inches we actually got, but the snow was thick and wet and I was knee deep at times taking pictures this afternoon. Work was closed :) we had a snow day. Yippee!
