First daffodils

Dull, dark and grey all day long, and really icy underfoot. So this random collection on the kitchen table was a welcome splash of colour. When my dad retired he dabbled in commercial daffodil bulb growing. The business venture would never succeed alas but it left a legacy in all of our garden daffies, a special place in my heart for daffodils of every kind and my memories of a beautiful golden field in the Borders, beside the River Tweed.

Suffice to say, these ones come from M&S but mine are on the way......
