Shhh! Don't tell!!

I borrowed Jane's 'real' camera today while she is at work, the dogs needed a walk and so did I, so we went to the old quarry at Stainton. We had a wander around and I used Janes Macro lens thingy to take some close ups of lichen and mossy stuff on the trees.

I'm not sure how to work the camera, it did seem difficult, but then I am used to my little point and click, so anything else seems difficult! I don't know how to turn the flash off on the big canon, and getting it to do what I wanted took a while.

But for a first attempt at macro photographs on manual setting (the autofocus did not want to work very well) I don't think I did too bad!
