Barclays' chief executive said today that banks should no longer apologise for their role in the financial crisis. Under tough questioning by the Treasury Select Committee Bob Diamond insisted he must pay his staff big bonuses. He personally stands to receive an £8 million bonus. Meanwhile I came across one of his bikes covered in expletives.
