2008

1st day of 2008. A wet, wet day in Edinburgh.

A couple of friends from London are here for the hogmanay celebration. Somehow they managed to persuade me to go out today, despite the not-so-great weather.

Apparently, my friend Matt, was in the triathlon, so we ended up walking down the royal mile to holyrood park, with the hope of giving him some support (although that obviously never happened because later we realized it's rather impossible to him).

So we watched the Dogmanay instead, took a walk in the rain around the park, had fried mars bars, ate fish & chips, and went back home.

I don't go to this area that often despite being 15 minutes away from the flat. & considering the fact that I went there in THIS weather, I've got to say in a weird way that's somewhat a promising start to 2008. Hehe
