Riding tour

Great riding tour for more than 5 hours!!!
Glorious sunshine, cute Haflinger horse called Cindy, two dogs with us and Elmar seems to know everything about the area!
We started in St. Valentin (Italy) and headed down to the valley to ride to the smallest european city - it has only around 800 inhabitants and a hugh ancient city wall. Great to ride through the small streets with the horses hooves sounds on the cobblestones! we had left the snow behind very soon with an ascent of more than 500 m, starting at 1550 m, going down to 950 m above sea level.
What a feeling at the end of the ride to galoppp at full speed in nearly darkness along the frozen lake in deep snow, just trusting the horse and Elmar...
The area around the Reschensee is in Italy, but most people speak in german. In the fascist times it was forbidden to speak german and only italiano was allowed. Switzerland and Austria are just around the corner...
