New Meter

Today a man turned up at the door and asked, very nicely, if it was possible to change the electricity meter, or make an appointment to do it another time. We had been warned that it needed to be done so I opted to let him get on with it there and then.

It is surprising how much stuff can be stored in a small under the stairs cupboard when you have to clear it out at short notice.

The old meter was dated 1967 so an update was long overdue. The new meter is electronic and is very small compared to the old electromechanical one.
