Sky Tower

Back on campus for my picture today, but I had a busy day, so only managed one or two shots of buildings in the sunshine. This one is Richmond Building, the tallest and largest on campus. Built in 1965 in readiness for the university opening in 1966, it was half re-clad a few years ago, which has improved the external appearance. I featured a different side of the building in a previous blip, Shadow Tree.

If I was after any effect with this image, it was to capture the pools of sky within the windows., and to slightly unsettle the perspective, so that the roof feature might be seen as a fence stopping you walking off into the sky.
