Mont Blanc

Another incredible hike...once again with French bread, Cheese, Croissants...and even instant coffee on top of the mountain (the peak from which this shot of mont blanc was taken).

This hike took the DVS skate shoes to the limit..actually the edge. My gripless soles were the only thing keeping me along the snowy path, which had a 5000 ft drop to instant death at its side.

There were quite a few times on this climb when I wished I had the luxury of hiking boots, but the DVS' had brought me this far and I knew they wouldn't fail me yet.
