This was an interesting night...

My train was stopped at some small town in France. It was 10pm and no more trains were leaving that night, because the France transportation union was on strike and they had a minimal amount of trains running.

I thought I could just sleep in the train station, but it turns out that they kick every one out of there and lock it up for night.

By the time I figured all this out and booked a ticket for the morning, the few hotels in town were shut down (to be honest I didn't have the money to pay for them anyway) sooo with no other options I was left to be homeless for the night.

I never want to do that again. It was so cold and wet, not rain, just dew, but that made it almost impossible to sleep. I tried sleeping in about 4 different spots until I found a park bench and slept for maybe half an hour.

It was one of the longest nights of my life and a rough start to my time in France...
