Our calendar

Sorry about the original pic for today, but it was moderated because it was a copy of an old photograph. Here goes with another version of our 2008 calendar.
I'm sending them out now, so I have the calendar, the envelopes, the thank you card and the stamps.
Oh the glasses!
We produced a calendar and are giving it to our supporters as a thank you and as a brief outline of what we are doing.

The comment for January follows

This is the village of Mphwaka, 4km from Mzuzu,where we have just installed a new pump, which will serve up to 150 people. There was great excitement all round as all the kids wanted to be part of the action. In the background women queued patiently to get the first water. Thoughts of walking a kilometer to a filthy stream thankfully a thing of the past.

I was there for this very joyful occasion and it was very moving. One thing is certain, they love their new pump.
