THE ROAD TO FOX HOUSE

This is as far as I got. Too much rain coming down. Fox House, or Casa della Volpe, is the house in the distance, is unoccupied, and has a nice old door. Another day. The consensus is that the rain stops tomorrow. If so, it is having one really big last fling today.

There are very ancient olive groves on either side of this road, all planted on the hillside and leaning accordingly.

For the record: It is +10 C. The case for a tripod has arrived but not the tripod and not the head. Terrific. Friends report lots of snow in Perth. Scotland that is, not Australia. I guess the rain isn't so bad.
