Maquette

This is a scaled down version of the Virgin and Child sculpture, the original of which can be seen, almost 9 feet high, in marble, as you enter the Lancaster Priory, in the city of Lancaster, UK. I know this setting is quite a departure from what you'd expect but strangely it gives it a little something extra...to me at least. Just a dishevelled corner of the garden
