Natural sculpture

Despite grey day, went out for a circuit around the village after lunch. We spotted this half tree on the bank of the stream and dragged it away from the water's edge as we are a bit jumpy about big stuff on the stream bank following last summer's floods that missed us by about 2 inches.
Reared up against the sky I thought it looked a bit like a tortoise's head with its mouth open.
The governor wants to go back and bring it home and plant it in the garden.
Cheered ourselves up after dark looking at holiday destinations!!!
