River Coomera

This is our local river, a couple of kilometres away. At the moment we are in no danger of it overflowing. But who knows what will happen in the next couple of days.

After all who would have thought that Toowoomba an inland town, would go under in a flash flood with such devastating consequences.

We have been watching the TV all day, there have been constant warnings of flooding for certain towns, but now more and more towns are likely to go under.

On the other side of the country in Western Australia they are having bushfires, hard to believe.

My thoughts and prayers are constantly with the people going through these terrible ordeals, I can't imagine how terrifying it must be for them.
