Learning Again
After a leisurely, slightly jet-lagged morning and a not so successful first French class, I made my way back for another 2 hours of class on the Vic campus. Coming in from Queen's Park, this is the view that awaits me.
Didn't do much else today; went for dinner after our new Vic One class with the professor my friends had last term (we swapped classes on the same programme) and then bumped into two close friends outside.
Emma came back to my room after an expectedly mediocre Burwash dinner and we chatted for hours. That was really nice. I fed her Trebor mints, which you don't get here, and we planned our summer. Maybe she'll also work at EIFF.
As we said, it feels like we've never left. Now everything is back in full swing. Ughhh. I am looking fondly at the Guardian on my desk and looking forward to reading it and revelling in my Britishness.
