{10/365} balance

Balancing between hard and soft, strong and delicate, smooth and rough, light and dark, this came home with me from one of my visits to Thailand. I'm told the hand position (here seen from above) is the Abhaya Mudra which is meant as a gesture of reassurance or fearlessness, and the lotus flower, a sign of purity. (Also the lotus flower can symbolize the chakras and my days at Aveda HQ imbued a healthy respect for balanced chakras.)
