Outlook into a white world...

We've hardly seen any snow this winter, so we got quite excited as we woke up in the cottage this "morning" (well, at least before noon) and looked out at the white surroundings! It's a very slushy day, but very nice anyhow!

As we took the bus back over to South Island it was almost dusk and the snowing was gradually changing into a "snowy rain". The temperature as we left the allotment was -1° C , but on the other side of the bridge it was about +2° C.
