Gridlock
One of my new year's resolutions was to be on time for work. I was on target this morning until, just after dropping off Thing 2, I got stuck in an almighty traffic jam due to black ice on Bannerigg. So after half an hour of local radio with rubbish travel reports (provided by *Ann and Geoff on the way to Windermere*..probably behind me in the queue) I decided to blip my view through the bleary windscreen.
It's been a long, bleak winter for us UK blippers. But, we've soldiered on through...
Top Winter Blips I've seen:
1. The fire (cos it's the only thing that's light)
2. The moon (more reliable than the sun)
3. Anything involving a candle
4. Fairy lights on a slow shutter speed for extra swirly-ness
5. The inside of the fridge (nice work Tadpole)
6. The computer screen (no need to move and it has a slightly ironic feel to it)
7. If all else fails...the remainder of your alcoholic drink...followed by downing it triumphantly.
We will not be beaten!
