Saving tin

This tin was given to me from a friend so I could save up for a ring flash with my spare change. The beauty of these are that they only can be opened by a can opener which drastically reduces the chances of my son or worse my wife from stealing my money. I'm debating which kind of ring flash I should get. For me the primary use for one would be for macro work. So should I save up and get a proper one or will the LED ones be fine for my needs? If any blippers out there have any experience with these I'd really appreciate some advice on the matter.



BTW sorry I haven't been posting over the last few days as I have been extremely busy.
