Kirsty

This was my first day of being fully back to work. Eileen is a university friend of Helena and she brought her daughter Kirsty to visit, so they could all spend the morning together playing.

I had a very good meeting with the architect and project manager of the Council's newly purchased Lansdown Hall, which we are now responsible for. It was great to find imaginative and elegant solutions for the Victorian building, which not only needs repairing but also redesigning for its future use as an arts venue for the town.

When I came home, I was in time for a bread and soup lunch. While we waited, Kirsty showed me the collage she had made this morning. I was very impressed.

Two more client sessions followed this afternoon, and now I need to catch up with the agenda for tonight's full Council meeting, which hopefully will be finished by 10pm. I am already tired and wish I'd had a swift siesta. I need to be alert tonight.
