January Blues

Here's what to do if you're feeling blue:
Go with the flow till you're blue right through.
Look blue, talk blue, think blue, too,
Pour blue liquid down the loo.
Wear blue socks, don a deep blue coat,
Tie a blue scarf round your cold blue throat.
Find a blue pen with bright blue ink;
On pale blue paper, go and write what you think
(As long as it's blue) and, whatever you choose,
Add a minor chord, and you're singing the blues.
Go with the flow till you're blue right through,
That's what to do if you're feeling blue.

I think this could come under the category of an emergency blip. But it's pouring with rain and dismally grey outside, so what's a girl to do ...? ('girl'! Ha!) But I do find something satisfying about a collection of different shapes in shades of the same colour. Might try it with another colour, on another Emergency Blipday!
