Whiston Village

Its so dark and damp and miserable its horrible; called at the little Post Office and thought I'll take a quick photo: Whiston is between Huyton where I live and Prescot.

The local hospital is called Whiston Hospital and is not far from the 'village' it was like most remaining old hospitals in Liverpool once a work house.
Most of them have been demolished fortunately Whiston and its sister St Helens have been totally rebuilt during the last two years.

I can't believe the amount of cars in the picture but there's a good motor car parts shop hidden by the cars and an excellent Chippy a post Office and not much else.
Well yes there's the pub right at the far end of the road.
