Finished welding a bad crack in a supply pipe to a gauge glass of the HP drum in the top of the boilerroom of unit EC5.
The glass is just behind the "run away" sign.

The cause of the crack is still unknown....

So now we can prepare the unit for start-up.
That means we have to fill the feedwatersystem consisting of the economisers, evaporators and the steamdrum.
Total amount of water is appr. 70 tons to fill all these systems completely..
And that's only the High Pressure system.
So we are busy with it, because we have to start-up three units.
Theoretically we only have to push one button for start-up but practically we have to do some more....
