Cassiopeia

This is my first attempt at taking an astroblip using the shiny Nikon D50 SLR camera which has been loaned to me from a very generous friend (Hi Dan! Thank you letting me use your camera!!!).

The building in this photo is the Swansea Observatory (which I blipped back in 2009) that was sadly closed down. At the bottom you can see the distinctive W (or M depending on how you tilt your head!) of Cassiopeia, this is my very favourite constellation! :D

I am quite proud of how this turned out considering it was my first go.. expect to see many more astroblips (whenever the sky permits of course!!!)
