Rabbit

This is another commission by the Belgian street artist Roa in Hackney Road, London, E1 - this wall actually made the news a few months ago becasue the local council were going to paint over it, hopefully they have changed their minds as its quite eyecatching next to the brightly coloured house.

This shot was totally accidental as I was lost - I was heading to a photographic exhibition of Mick Rock's work of various rock stars (yep he has a very apt name) which was in Chance Street about 10 mins walk from Liverpool Street Station - I had toyed with the idea of going at lunchtime but thought best to go on the weekend it looked easy on the map (which I forgot to take with me) suffice to say I missed the turning and walked for miles (well it seemed liek miles) down Hackney Road and I asked about 15 - 20 people for directions including going into 2 taxi offices and no-one knew where to go - although eventually a bar/club security guy helped which put me in the right direction. The exhibition was worth it tho and I am glad I made the effort - annoying the very first person I asked was about 20 meters from where I wanted to go - grrr!

Had an Internet problem on and off all w/end it keeps crashing especially on laptop but D has gone to bed (catching up from last week) so I'm finally able to post albeit a day late :)
