The Night We Went To Bangor

Having first spent an hour or so with Grandmama and Grandpapa we then went on to my cousins house in Bangor with another cousin and her husband They have this great conservatory and the table looked lovely. Needed something to cheer us up as had a call from my son just before we left home to say he was stuck in a remote part of Anglesea waiting for the AA having had a puncture .He could not get the wheel off himself and neither could the "man who can". Ended up leaving it in Bangor at a Repair depot. We eventually picked it up about 11.3 this a.m. in between bouts of him being violently sick with this bug that seems to be going around. Just about got to the cottage in Llanfairfechan when he heard this terrible grating sound. A cover had become dislodged under the car and was catching on the wheel. Having spent ages trying to get it off completely he tried to tie it on with string. I suddenly remembered there was a car mechanics' work shop not far along the road. Fortunately someone was there and prepared to have a look. He had it sorted in a few minutes. My son thinks it may have caught on the ramp as he backed off the breakdown truck the previous evening and it had become loose and fell off on the way back today. All visits to the butterfly farm were cancelled and they are hopefully on their way home now. We have had to come home as we are out again tonight.
We had a great meal last night despite all the earlier upset. Nice to catch up with the rellies.
My new Camera has arrived and I am collecting it tonight. Yippee
