I had to go the the library to return a few books and get a couple out again. The book I finished the book I started on the plane within a day and a half. They seem to have a huge supple of Alexander McCall smith books at the local library, which suits me because I can read all the ones set in Edinburgh.

Then I went into town to The English shop (I know I've said it before, but it should be British - it sells Haggis, shortbread and Irn Bru!) because I stupidly left my adaptor plug in Edinburgh. I don't even know why I took it with me to Edinburgh, it's not like I would need it.

I like going there because the shop assistants are all British, so you can walk up to them and start talking without saying "Sorry, do you speak English?" first.
