Wonder Wall

Well, Isla has been let loose on the neighbourhood... Being fully immunised we've given in to her pawing at the door. A cat flap will have to be put in in due course as she looks likely to range further than the old cats (who were both old house cats before Mel got them and they we scared enough of the great outdoors to stick to the garden for short visits). And so the worry begins...

Anyway, today she came out about 4 times, while I worked away on building the frames for the chicken run extension. The tally included: Birds Sent into Squawking Frenzy - couple of dozen; chicken house explored - one; chickens avoided - three; chickens stalked - one; cat chased from her garden- one; palm trees stuck up - one.

In other news Newcastle managed to ensure that we won't be seeing the footage of our FA Cup loss to Hereford for quite some time; Stevenage will take over from that. And we went out for a really nice meal at Thai Orchid, which dulled the pain somewhat.

Concentrating on the league. Obviously.
