Whooper Swans - near the end of the day

These poor swans fly all the way from Iceland for our milder winters. Mistake - our weather has killed some of them! Although the water is still iced up, it isn't as cold as it was before Christmas so they should be okay now. Only a small number have died. They got themselves trapped in the ice.
