Never a dull moment

I fully expected to be blipping the glow of winter sun on medieval stone this afternoon. However, in front of the cathedral is a dark (Gormley-esk) statue of a lady, and today with the sun low in the sky behind her she was positively radiant! Her hands are the most detailed and polished part and were literally sparkling in the sun.....
