Casino Round?

Well I promised Birds of Paradise but ended up using them to contrast with the circular casino building here in Funchal. To me it looks like a cross between a Doctor Who set and a Star Wars Empire foot soldier's headgear.
You would expect perhaps for it to contain glamorous Baccarat and Roulette tables with elegant formally-attired couples casually tossing chips onto tables while holding iced Martinis. Unfortunately it is filled entirely with sad slot machines on grubby carpet with dead-eyed gamblers trying hopelessly to win the & euro;8,000 jackpot.
